On price, honestly. We are still pricing with our founding families, so we quote per home rather than post a number we would only have to change. You get the full price in writing before you commit to anything, and there is no charge for the enquiry or the conversation. Founding-cohort places are discounted in exchange for honest feedback and a testimonial.

The five steps

  1. Intake. A short questionnaire before we start: your kids' ages, every device in the house (phones, tablets, computers, consoles, smartwatches), your router, and your top three worries.
  2. Audit. We check what you already have against all four layers. Most homes turn out to have controls available that were never switched on.
  3. Setup, together. We work through each layer while you follow along: network filtering, family controls on each platform including PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, per-app permissions, charging stations, and the family agreement. You type every password, and we do not see or keep credentials.
  4. Handover. A one-page summary of what changed, where every setting lives, and what to do when something breaks.
  5. Follow-up. A check-in two weeks later, once real life has tested the setup.

What is and is not included

Included: setting up each layer, explaining what every setting does so you can change it later, recommending whichever built-in tool fits each job, and a plan for loosening controls as your kids get older. We do not sell or resell software, so there is nothing we gain from recommending one over another.
What we will not do: monitor your children on your behalf, keep any of your passwords, or set up covert surveillance. We also will not tell you the result is guaranteed safety, because layered settings reduce risk rather than remove it.

Common questions

Do the tools cost money?

Almost never. The core set (router filtering, Google Family Link, Apple Screen Time, Microsoft Family Safety, console family settings) is free and built into devices you already own. If a paid tool is the right fit for your household we will say so and explain why, but we earn nothing either way.

My kids are more technical than I am. Will this hold?

Some of it will be worked around eventually, and that is worth expecting rather than being surprised by. Layers help because getting past one still leaves the others, and because a workaround usually becomes visible, which turns it into a conversation rather than a secret. We show you how the layers back each other up so you can tell what has changed.

Does remote really work as well as in-person?

Yes: the steps are identical. You do the physical bits (plugging in the router, typing passwords) with us directing on screen. Splitting it over two shorter calls actually suits most families better than one long evening.

What about the PlayStation, Xbox or Switch?

Covered properly, not as an afterthought. Console family settings handle playtime, spending, and voice chat with strangers, which is the one most often left open. For households with a gamer in them this is frequently the part that changes the most.

Will you need our passwords?

No. You type every credential yourself, always. During remote sessions we ask you to keep credential screens off-camera. Your accounts stay yours; that boundary is written into our agreement.
